We are pleased to announce that new PhD students have accepted positions in the RTG.

We welcome Guifu Liu, Max Rausch-Dupont, and Victor Scherer Putrich into the RTG. They will join our growing team of PhD students in September 2025.

We look forward to working with them!

	Guifu is about to obtain his Masters by Research in Computational Linguistics at University of Edinburgh. His research interests are implicit meanings and pragmatic uses of language. He would like to examine and improve these aspects in language models.
Victor Scherer Putrich is currently concluding his Master’s in CS at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. His knowledge in terms of symbolic approaches will enrich our expertise in the area of Action.
	Max is currently a Masters Student as Saarland University in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and is working on Transformers for chemical language models and Bayesian Optimization for more efficient molecule experiments.
